Georgia Tech faculty interested in translating research into real-world impact are invited to apply for the Quadrant-i Startup Launch program, a 12-week commercialization initiative offered in collaboration with CREATE-X. The program is designed to help researchers transform promising discoveries into viable startups through mentorship, funding opportunities, and structured commercialization support.

Participants in the program receive extensive resources to accelerate innovation, including a $10,000 commercialization grant, access to approximately $200,000 in in-kind services, and connections to Georgia Tech venture funding opportunities such as the Research Investment Fund. Faculty will also receive mentorship from Quadrant-i principals and have the opportunity to present their innovations during Demo Day, a signature event that attracts more than 1,500 investors, industry leaders, and members of the innovation community.

The program encourages participants to focus on customer discovery, market validation, and user-driven design strategies to ensure their research addresses meaningful real-world challenges. Teams are also encouraged to dedicate focused development time during the summer to maximize progress.

Eligibility

To qualify, projects must be based on funded research conducted in a Georgia Tech laboratory and participants must be able to attend the program in person.
